Absolutely spot on Jennifer and you rightly should be proud of Chivas. Preki is an excellent manager who has the boys playing good, attractive football and he's someone who can get the best if not more out of the players he's got if you consider all the injuries the squad has had the last two years.

I've been a Chivas USA fan since BEFORE game 1 season 1! Soooooo no doubt I'm happy to see my Chivas with their feet on fire!! Especially considering some "starters" have still been plagued with injuries(Lawson Vaughn, Maykel Galindo, Ante Razof, Alecko Eskandarian and Dan Kennedy) Then again last year it was hard to tell who was a starter with 30 different starting line ups (30 out of 32 that's astonishing)!! http://web.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20081204&content_id=207749&vkey=news_cdc&fext=.jsp&team=t120

I love Sacha - but - I won't worry so much about Chivas when he goes to represent the US. I haven't seen much out of him since USA vs Sweden in January when he pulled out a hat trick!! Johnny, yes, his absence could be dangerous - he has been a key player up & down the field. As for Thornton - I sure bagged on him last year (LOL) don't even ask about the blogs I wrote! - but now I have to apologize because THIS YEAR he has been a true pleasure to watch! I would also feel confident with Dan Kennedy in goal- but I will always miss Brad!! Lilingston was a stand-out since preseason - hopefully his fire will rekindle soon! I don't really consider Gerson "new" since he was reserves already, he seems to be well on his way to RESERVING himself a permanent starting position! :)

The bottom line is Chivas USA have been playing like a finely tuned machine no matter who is on the field! And yes, of course attendance increases when there are more wins because people are like sheep, they go with the flock!

I think its fair to say that anybody will support a winner. I also just remembered wasn't Chivas one of the 4 clubs that pulled a "no comment" or "unreachable" stunt when the sports business journal reported 10 out of the 15 clubs had a ticket sales increase this season compared to last?
