- Andrew Hainault, Player Signings
I believe we’ve mentioned this possible deal before, though it was probably a couple months ago. The Houston Dynamo have finally announced the signing of Canadian defender Andrew Hainault from Czech Republic side FK SIAD Most today.
The 22-year-old defender had been training with the club since the pre-season but a dispute over his ITC held up the deal from being finalized. Some early reports say he signed a four-year deal with the club, worth somewhere in the $90,000-$100,000 range.
The signing probably comes at a good time for the Orange. Their defense hasn’t been nearly as dominate as they have in the past couple years. The loss of Eddie Robinson has been largely to blame to that.
Overall not a bad move if you ask me.
