Ottawa Expansion Bid Hit Hard

i wouldnt take this as the end for one thing the ottawa sun is own n ran by huge american football fans. that being said i think that the sun is even owned by a merder of the landsdown group. they have done nothing but try hurt the hopes of soccer in the city. at that note i know the city looked at all the stadium request and deem the soccer one at number 6 and the american football one at frank clair as number 7.(1 to 5 where just ramdone request that wouldnt have a team so they woudnt be taken)

All you do is crap on Ottawa as a possible expansion franchise. Columbus? Salt Lake City? The Capital region is the same size as these two cities and is within a 3 hour drive of over 12 million people.<br />
Soccer is a part of the culture and is not some 4th or 5th tier sport in this region.<br />
What is happening is two groups are fighting for government money. The local press is selling it as CFL or MLS. Both groups have stated they want both and control of both.<br />
There is a reason Garber is so keen on this market. I'm sure they would have no problem attracting larger crowds than Dallas. <br />
Maybe they should move.
