Seattle Sells Out Opener

Not much else to say about this. Seattle has sold out all 32,000 seats at Qwest Field for their season opener in a couple weeks against the New York Red Bulls.

One other interesting note, since the Sounders have surpassed the 20,000 season ticket mark, the club will put a cap on season tickets at 22,000. Not bad at all if you ask me. This club will average more butts-in-seats than a couple teams combined this year.

I wouldn’t be shocked to see this club average 25,000 this year. Would you?
