It sounds as though there is a possible pre-draft trade in the works between FC Dallas and the New York Red Bulls. Buzz Carrick is reporting that the two sides have agreed to swap international players on their rosters. Dallas would send forward Dominic Oduro to New York for winger Dave van den Burgh. Interesting…[continue reading]

Toronto Moving Up, Seattle Moving Down?

Toronto Moving Up, Seattle Moving Down?

Gotta love a good draft rumor the week leading up to the SuperDraft. If you told me a week ago about this idea I probably would have laughed it off a bit but the more I look into the better it sounds on both ends. Several reports including SBI are saying that Toronto and Seattle…[continue reading]

San Jose and Cannon Close to New Deal

(Note: Forgive me if this is a few days late, last week was a very busy week for me at the 9-5 job and I didn’t get around to this news item until today. Still better late than never for some.) Center Line Soccer is reporting that San Jose and keeper Joe Cannon are very…[continue reading]

DC Make-Over Continues, Peralta Leaves

Last year all the talk centered around DC United and the slew of international signings. The club brought in a hand-full of guys only to see most of them not pan out with the club. Wizards Re-sign Lopez at Discounted Rate

That’s good news for a club that is desperate to sign a top-flight striker…[continue reading]

A small trade really but one to talk about…the Los Angeles Galaxy acquired midfielder Stefani Miglioranzi from the Columbus Crew for a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. The 31-year old midfielder from Brazil began his MLS career with the Galaxy in 2006, appearing in three games before being traded to Columbus after…[continue reading]

Tracy Signing With Danish Club

Tracy Signing With Danish Club

It seems to be a topic every year that we have to go into. Guys that pass on MLS because the league doesn’t pony up enough cash to sign them properly. That looks to maybe be the case once again with Wake Forest striker Marcus Tracy who recently passed up the MLS Combine and SuperDraft…[continue reading]

Setting A Name In Philly

I saw a link earlier on a Philly news site about naming the new expansion club, however minutes later it was taken down. I guess someone jumped the gun on the release. It happens but thankfully I did jot down the list of names (and later it looks like they were legit as SBI is…[continue reading]
