Grella On Trial In England

i support leeds, and saw grella in action against barnsley. he looks a good raw player. yep we are in the 3rd tier of english football due to financial armageddon 5 years ago, but we are still one of the greats of english football and get crowds of 30,000 still. <br />

i reckon this guy will get a contract, we have a good record for bringing through young players, and reached the semi-finals of the european champions league 8 long years ago. we were champions of england last in 1992, liverpool have not been english champions since the 1980's!<br />

hopefully we are a team on the way back, and hope to see more of mike grella<br />

Financial Armagedon sounds like something that is happening to the US economy. I hope Grella has success and works hard. Time will tell how much talent he possesses. Toronto FC took a flier on him in the third round.

Good for him to seek employment outside of MLS. Let's tap the brakes a bit on his recent success though. He scored for Leeds reserves so that's like the 4th tier or lower of football.

Leeds maybe in the 3rd tier of english football but the 3rd tier of English football is still more competive and fiancially lucrative to a player of grella's age were he will also recieve more exposure than in MLS!! like who watches MLS neway? the only reason anyone in Europe has heard of it is because of David beckham and he's realised what a mistake it was sign for LA… joke league with no future or history… Leeds are still one of the biggest names in European football and we will be back where we belong soon..
