Duh. We all saw this coming from a mile away three months ago. Anytime you spend a month with adding a goal and two assists in a game you are bound to become MVP. Columbus Crew midfielder Guillermo Barros Schelotto was named just that today by the league.

Schelotto was a maestro in the midfield as he led MLS with 19 assists, tied for the second highest single season total in MLS history, and scored seven goals.
