Head coach Gary Smith answered some questions about Christian Gomez and seemed interested in using him more during the 2009 campaign. However, Gary Smith stated that it would be based off of Christian's preseason training. If the Rapids were to trade him, Chivas USA or Kansas City would be a good fit. But, the Rapids have great young players in Colin Clarke on the wing, and Nick LaBrocca in the midfield. Gomez could compliment Pablo Mastroeni and LaBrocca, unless Gary Smith would go with the services of Greg Dalby. As a Rapids fan, I would like to see him stay.
