I think it is pretty sad that MLS fans would actually vote on a novelty like this as the league goal of the year. Seriously, it was a terrible free kick by the keeper, ten yards too far for his front line to reach, but a lucky bounce and bad possitioning by the other keeper make it the goal of the year canidate? It should not even have been goal of the week in my mind. Please vote skill over blind luck. You think this goal will change any minds about the skill in MLS? Only for the worse.
