No what they NEED is to bring in a DP to save the fans revolting for another crap season!

Also, the "It takes time when building a football club" line goes out the window when you see that in ONE,.... ONE season, with the right trades and acquisitions, San Jose is a challenger.

I really don't agree with the comment that Carver is done here. I think he will only be done if he doesn't get what he's asking for. Carver has turned down jobs in England to stay at TFC, so I don't think he's worrying about keeping his job here, but what's the point of him staying if he doesn't win? And he wants to win.

I think what frustrates people, and myself, and I realize that the rules of the league come into this as well, is that TFC is owned by a billion dollar sports corporation that ones the Toronto Marlies, Toronto Raptors, Toronto Maple Leafs, and TFC. They have the money, and tonnes of it, they just need to spend it. How much do they pay players for the Leafs or Raptors? I think it's fair to say they could spare a few million to bring in an amazing DP.

The wild card in all of this? Artificial Turf... lets hope that gets figured out soon enough.

DP's do not equal salvation, Carver is out of his league in MLS (quite literally). He does not understand the nature of north american sport and it shows. TFC is a coke league wanna be at the moment and It will take a lot more than a DP to turn that team around. As far as the team goes, if they want success they'll let carver go and get someone who has been around MLS and understands it.

Not if I look at this with my Crew goggles on I'm all for TFC wasting there cash and keeping the entertaining whiner around as long as possible. I firmly believe with him and Mo at the helm of Terrible FC next year the Crew continue to go undefeated against the canucks.

Carver is a good guy. I've met him a couple of times. I agree with him on this one. Toronto needs to flex is spending muscle and get some high profile players in January.
