Posted by: WVHooligan In: MLS| New England Revolution| News and Rumors
Wow, love it when Major League Soccer decides to wait it out and tell us a day later that someone else has clinched a playoff spot.
The New England Revolution has become the third team to qualify for the 2008 MLS Cup Playoffs. The results from Week 28 of the Major League Soccer schedule, coupled with the remaining league matches and head-to-head tie-breaker scenarios, have secured the Revs’ passage to the postseason for the seventh consecutive season, the longest active playoff appearance streak in MLS.
