- 2010 World Cup, Landon Donovan, Michael Bradley, Tim Howard, Trinidad and Tobago, World Cup qualifying
Its sort of a slow news day (or week rather) in MLS. Tonight we have our third World Cup qualifier in Chicago against Trinidad and Tobago. The question is going into this game, who will Bob Bradley start? Keep some of the same from the Cuba game or change things up a bit at home?
Both teams come in relatively healthy, though Dwight Yorke won’t be in action for the visitors due to his club team not wanting him to go. But Trinidad & Tobago are far from a pushover. The ‘Soca Warriors’ have four points from its first two matches and have scored a few goals in the process (a few more than the US’s two lone goals). Keep an eye out for midfielder Keon Daniel, he’s got three goals in the first two qualifying games.
Just to refresh your minds here is a look at the players called up for this match:
US Men’s National Team Roster
Also keep in mind that the US has yet to lose to T&T at home going 8-0-2 all-time. No suspension or injuries to talk about for the US so all the players above are good to go here.
Here is a line up I expect to see tonight, feel free to post yours.
Beasley – Donovan – Dempsey
Bradley – Edu
Cherundolo – Pearce- Onyewu- Hejduk
