Guille is the run away MVP at the moment, it was a disgrace that he wasn't an allstar. The fact that the league put in Toja over him is just a flat out joke. No one is even close in assists to him and he creates nearly every opportunity on the #1 ranked team. He truly is the Most Valuable Player and not just some big name player or another in a list of goal scorers. You've got it right putting him up there at number one. No other single player in this league is as essential to his team as Guille

Jaime Moreno has singlehandedly carried DC United to where we are right now. We are without our playmaker, and this FORWARD has assumed that role, and he's 34, losing all his speed, and has to rely on his skill level now. He has 9 goals, 4 admittedly from the PK spot, but 7 assists. That can;t be denied. What has LandyCakes done lately? Yea. Exactly.

The player I'm about to mention is someone who won't get any votes, but he really should. Carl Robinson for TFC is the most important player on that team, and he should be in the running for MVP. The thing with him is you don't notice him in the game, because he just takes care of business, every game. He shuts people down, and teams down in the middle of the field. Last season he was called upon to be an offensive play maker, and that's not what he does well at all. But this season with Guevara in the line up he's playing where he should and he's showing it. He out played Joseph last week in Toronto, and he out plays most players most weeks. That said, Schelotto should not be MVP. 20,000 fans saw him flop around when Columbus played in Toronto, it was a disgrace to the game, the coach even had to take him off the field, iit was just terrible. To my, and MVP should portay more then just a great player, but a great ambassador for the game, especially when trying to grow the game in North America. Once again, Robinson fits this perfectly.

I think Landon should be further up the list. You've seen the Galaxy without him. It's not pretty. Landon hasn't been as ferocious lately simply because Ruud started messing around with the lineup trying to force Ruiz onto the field. The player who has to be moved all around to make room for him was Landon Donovan simply because he's the most versatile player on the roster who is extremely talented. Ruud moved him back to forward for his last game and he scores again. I'd move him up to at least No. 3...above Cooper and above Moreno. And if the Galaxy make the playoffs...he's gotta be considered for No. 1.
