Told ya I had more FC Dallas news.

Yesterday, FC Dallas signed midfielder and Dallas-area native Jamie Watson to a developmental deal.

The 22-year-old Watson spent the past three seasons with Real Salt Lake, where he scored two goals and added one assist in 38 regular season games. He was selected by RSL with the 13th overall selection in the 2005 MLS SuperDraft.

RSL waived Watson this past offseason and he had been with Dallas pretty much ever since. He did briefly play with PDL-side Austin Aztex, where he scored eight goals in 13 games.

The club had asked him to come back and train with the club this week and they ended up signing him. I talked to him earlier in the week and he seemed eager to be with the club again. I know he is happy to be gone from Salt Lake as well. Honestly its a good deal for him to be back in Dallas and with a MLS side.

So congrats to Jamie for getting a contract.
