I’ve always liked Landon too and used to wish he’d gone to San Jose with Frank and my Joe but that wasn’t possible. I admired the way he stepped aside as captain (granted it was his choice) when David came on-board. What I miss most about watching him play is how the other guy didn’t see Landon coming until he was up on him and by then it was too late…GOAL!!!!!!!!I have two wishes for him—that he thrives if he makes the move—and that he takes ALL of Skippy’s Speedos with him when he does.

More than anything else, I think this is a effort to get European clubs thinking about him again. Despite being the biggest name in soccer coming out of the US, his former aversion to playing in Europe is well known. Therefore, if he does want to play in Europe he has to convince the European clubs that he is serious about it and I don’t think these wishy-washy comments cut it. I would wait until the end of the season. If hes making more serious comments then I wouldn’t be surprised if he makes the crossing.

He’s a talented player, and to take his game to another level (and really where it should be) he needs to be challanged. That type of challange comes in Europe. He’d do well at a smaller club where he could play a lot, maybe in Spain or France. I’m a Galaxy fan, but I hope he make the move, cause its the right one. Just hope he leaves at the end of this season.
