First XI Unveiled For All-Star Game

The first 11 players were named to the 2008 MLS All-Star game that takes place later this month in Toronto against EPL side West Ham United.

Again, this is the first 11, not the starting lineup. That will come later on.

MLS First XI:

GK- Matt Reis, New England Revolution
D- Jimmy Conrad, Kansas City Wizards
D- Frankie Hejduk, Columbus Crew
D- Michael Parkhurst, New England Revolution
MF – David Beckham, Los Angeles Galaxy
MF – Cuauhtémoc Blanco, Chicago Fire
MF – Shalrie Joseph, New England Revolution
MF – Sacha Kljestan, Chivas USA
MF – Robbie Rogers, Columbus Crew
F – Kenny Cooper, FC Dallas
F – Landon Donovan, Los Angeles Galaxy

    good team, although I think 3 defenders maybe a little worrisome. If the hammers play a first team squad I expect the MLS winning streak to end, not enough defense in the team. On another note I would like to see Dwayne De Rosario selected as a sub and a TFC player since it's in Canada.
