After the dominating 8-0 thrashing of Barbados, US Men’s National team coach Bob Bradley has plenty of options to picks some new guys for this Sunday’s meeting in Barbados. In fact Bradley made room for 10 new players as he sent guys home from camp.
Brian Ching, Clint Dempsey, Steve Cherundolo, Landon Donovan, Brad Guzan, Frankie Hejduk, Maurice Edu, Sacha Kljestan, Pablo Mastroeni, and Matt Reis have been released for a break or to return to their MLS clubs.
Who could Bob call in now?
My short list includes: Kenny Cooper, Edson Buddle, Robbie Rogers, Chris Seitz, Dax McCarty, Frank Simek, Lee Nguyen, Jozy Altidore, Bobby Convey, and Danny Szetela.
Who do you think Bob will call into the National team camp this week for Sunday’s meeting? I think we will finally get to see guys like Cooper and Rogers called in. With an 8-0 lead, Bradley can really do no wrong in calling up a very young group of players, especially some that will see time in the Olympics later on this summer.
