It is amazing how much better LA looks offensively this year then last year... but Buddle is a big part. I think I'd trade away Ruiz and try to bring in a holding midfielder or defender. I'm not sold on Cronin in goal either... but its obvious LA want to outshoot you rather then shut you down.

But I'm glad to see Donovan stepping up after a year of criticism from a lot of the soccer popular press (blogs, world soccer daily, etc.).

I honestly thought it was Buddle. Not because I'm riding the whole wave of Buddle enthusiasm, but I really think he did a tad more in that game, at least when it came to scoring. Donovan finished a dropped ball, and a PK he didn't earn. Buddle finished a goal, and beautifully set up that ball to Beckham for the PK.

P.S. If Ruiz can work with Buddle, if could be all over for the opposition. Ruiz might be more valuable for trading though.
