I really would like to see a different type of format introduced to this particular round of qualifying....being a native of TORONTO, who bleeds for the MAPLE LEAF...its not easy looking at the competition in Group B knowing that Costa Rica's toughest challenge will be from El Salvador....groups like this are perfect tune up's for teams looking to gain momentum and confidence going into the last group phase.

As for the USA..i think their group will give them a good challenge but the USA will surely overpower their group-mates. These matches will not be cakewalks, yet they will serve as great preparations for the last phase as im sure the Amercian Lineup COULD be juggled around (in search of the best chemistry) should they overrun their opponents early.

PREDICTIONS....
Group A: USA, Guatamala
Group B: Mexico, Canada
Group C: Costa Rica, El Salvador

Group B is undoubtedly the toughest. Good thing we aren't in that mix because crazier things have happened. As for Group A, I have to say that as a proud US Soccer fan and someone who has strong ties to Guatemala, I really hope that they both make it through--no matter how it happens. I am pretty sure that Guatemala has never made the World Cup and it would be incredible if they could qualify...
