See Drew, my Joe and his Quakes work t-o-g-e-t-h-e-r as a team. Therefore e-a-c-h player is key. I think there's a name for that --- oh yeah, it's called a 'team'. 'CG' has a pretty nice ring to it ... thanks.

CG, try four key players (Garcia, Riley, Guerrero, and Kamara). I wouldn't count a couple of those out with injuries as 'key' players. Plus LA was missing just as many key parts. But yeah, who's counting.

Actually Drew, my Joe and his Quakes were down EIGHT key players Saturday, but who's counting, right? Cronin should have done well after all, last season he learned from the
best goalkeeper in MLS. I'm still behind San Jose 100%.

Keller is retired from the National team.

And I'm sorry, but that idea, quite frankly, is stupid. We want to win the Olympics, not say "Well, that was a good effort! We ALMOST made it past the group round! Let's hope we can duplicate this success in the World Cup!!"

There was talk on FSC of Buddle being in the mix for a spot on the USMNT, but I think I have a better idea... send him to the Olympics as one of three over 23 players first! I'm sure the dream scenerio is for Landy to go to the olympics, but injuries and WC qualifiers will make that unappealing for LA. So tell LA, hey, if we can't have Landy we wan't Buddle. This would give Buddle a bigger stage to see if the scoring is there... and give the U-23 Squad a shot at what they are missing--a compliment to Altidore up front.
Imagine adding a goalie (maybe an aging star like Keller?) a prominent defender (Bocanegro is good AND out of contract so no club issue there) and a goal-scorer to our U-23 team. I wonder if Rangers would like Beasley to get in some more games before the Scottish league gets in full swing! After watching the thrilling US performance at Canada's World Cup U-20 last summer I am REALLY looking forward to the olympics.

Unfortunately for Rapids fans the Altitude broadcast guys are jokers. Did they really say a play by the other team was "lame?" Yes they did. They also called Toronto, FC Dallas at one point. It hurts to be a Rapids fan in so many ways.
