No Cubans For Galaxy

Just when I thought I was done for the night, I find out one more bit of information that needs sharing with you all since it was a story I discussed a couple weeks ago.

According to the wonderful Sideline Views, Ruud Gullit has decided to not keep the three Cuban players that were in on trial with the club as Yenier Bermudez, Yordany Alvarez and Juan Manuel Miranda, have been released by the club.

Apparently the three didn’t fit into the Galaxy’s system. Either it means they are really bad or Gullit has no clue what he is doing already with this club. Either way this news isn’t a total shocker to me at this point. Even if they had signed with the club I couldn’t see any of them other than Miranda making any sort of impact on the team this season.

Who knows now what the future holds for these three. Maybe they go to the other side of the HDC and get a try out with Chivas. Their one Cuban has been a success so far so who knows.
