The only reason the Galaxy beat San Jose was because it was a home game. LA was my
team last season, but I'm backing SJ this year (MY Joe rules). LA has more wasted potential than any team I've ever seen and the one thing you can always count on them for is their inconsistency. Having traded their most valuable player to SJ, their chances of making the playoffs this season are slim to none. David's ankle still isn't 100% because he won't stay off of it long enough for it to heal properly. His dedication is admirable but at what cost to his health? David's got great technique and good speed but doesn't have the physical composition to play well through injury that Joe has, and Landon's a great soccer player but can't carry LA when David's injured. As long as that team continues to rely on the strengths of a few key players, inconsistency will remain their only constant. Next to San Jose, I still like the Galaxy but given their record, egos, and management, I don't think any of us will be seeing too many nights this season like last Thursday. So I hope they're enjoying the taste of success because we're talking LA here, it will not last.

If the Galaxy lose tonight...Lalas will be fired by the time the sun comes up!!! Who knows Gullit may be gone, too.

This Galaxy team is bad, but I still think they can beat an expansion team at home.
