US – England Game A Go

Sorry once again for the lack of updates yesterday. Busy day in the office kept me away from doing much of anything. But hopefully today will be a little better.

Anyways, down to business. It was reported last night that the US men’s national team would indeed face England this summer. The US will travel to London to play England at Wembley Stadium on May 28. The match, set for a 3pm kickoff, will air on ESPN Classic and Univision.

As I’ve said before, I cannot wait for this summer’s friendlies for the US team. Loads of quality competition can only improve the play and confidence for the team going into World Cup qualifying this year. I’ve always been a firm believer of playing quality competition to prepare for tournaments and things of that nature. The better prepared you are in the beginning, the better you will play in the end when it really matters.

Anyone making the trek across the pond for this one? Or any this summer for that matter?

Um… ESPN CLASSIC?? Why not regular ESPN?? Oh, I'm sorry, I guess the scheduled MLB regular season meaningless pointless game has already been scheduled. Pardon my ignorance.
