Dynamo Trade Corrales Rights to Quakes

Well yesterday’s guessing game over where Houston would trade the rights to Ramiro Corrales was fun but it looks like the most likely destination in yesterday’s game was indeed the one that Houston went with.
The Dynamo have traded the league rights to defender Ramiro Corrales to the San Jose Earthquakes for an undisclosed amount of allocation money, pending league approval.
Houston held his rights and were expected to trade them since he was going to ask for a hefty contract on his return from Norway. Going to San Jose makes sense and getting some allocation in return makes even more sense for Houston since they need it for a striker signing.
Corrales gets to go near is home in California and all should be happy. Plus I think he will be a solid addition to the Quakes who already have a pretty good defense. Question still remains for Quake fans, who will score goals for you this year, you can’t be everyone 1-0 in the MLS….or can you?
