I'd give up Cooke for him, he's past his prime and isn't a dynamic as Gomez. I doubt Cooke is headed to DC though, where would his international status fit? However, I think it is time the league did a favor for the Rapids. We all know Gomez isn't staying in DC. Had DC wanted to get more for him, they should have moved him a month ago. They don't need any help in the form of allocation money...MLS should make DC trade Gomez for a couple draft picks and a pat on the back. Lord knows the league has helped DC enough.
