Fulham and Johnson Complete Deal

The American club in England finally got it’s man this morning. Sources tell me Eddie Johnson has been granted a UK work permit after having his appeal granted following a interview with panel today.
The work permit has cleared the way for Johnson to sign with Fulham. Apparently the deal will go through the 2010/2011 season.
The money terms haven’t been announced but once they are I will pass them along to you.
Still the wonder is how the Wizards will move on without Johnson. They have gone out and signed a player and from what I understand there could be another striker to land in a Wizards kit next season either through a trade or a transfer.
As of right now Scott Sealy is the lone striker that can score for the Wizards, though you could add Davey Arnaud to that but I don’t think even those two combine is enough for KC to be able to make a strong push this year even with an improved defense that they have.
It is good to finally see Johnson off to another league. I will be curious to see the playing time he gets at Fulham and see if they fight off relegation once again thanks to an American.
