Put a team down South somewhere. Right now, there's not a single team south of Columbus and east of Dallas. Miami isn't even really a good place because it's not accessible from anywhere except Miami. Miami will be like Salt Lake - no regional support, only locals will care. Every major region of the country has a team except the Deep South (and the northeast and California each have THREE!!). I realize it will take ownership groups stepping up, but MLS needs to at least show some interest in the South. Boo for expansion teams in the North (especially the northeast). If he had ever seen a Timbers game, he would see that this city deserves a team. I'm from New England and a DC United fan, but I still feel that the next 2 expansion teams need to be in Philly and Portland (in that order).
