Generation Adidas Class of 2008

Just got word of this year’s Generation adidas class:

D Chance Myers, 20, UCLA
F Alex Nimo, 17, Portland, Ore.
F Patrick Nyarko, 22, Virginia Tech
MF Ciaran O’Brien, 20, UC Santa Barbara
MF Brek Shea, 17, College Station, Tex.
D Rob Valentino, 22, Univ. of San Francisco

All except Valentino will participate in the scouting combine this weekend in Fort Lauderdale and all will be available in next Friday’s draft in Baltimore. For supporters planning to attend the festivities, click here for important information.

I’ve see a couple of these kids in person before. Valentino is a pretty good defender with some size, and I think Nyarko could be the real deal in the next level, just depending on who drafts him if he doesn’t go number one.

Pretty good size class. More than likely you will see Nyarko go number one in this draft. I am kinda calling that out right now after seeing this list. I’m also being told that this list may still have a name or two to be added in a day or so. But we will see if that actually happens or not!
