Boswell To Houston – Done Deal

Looks as though the league’s best blogger is on the move and as of a little bit ago it is official. Bobby Boswell, the 2006 MLS Defender of the Year is on his way to Houston in exchange for keeper Zach Wells and a future draft pick.

With this it looks as though Houston has found a way to fill the gap in their central defense, while DC gets a pretty solid option at keeper. Wells has been a very solid backup for Houston and should easily be a start in the MLS in my opinion.

It looks as though the deal for DC getting Joe Cannon may be off for now, if not off for good with this deal.

United’s pursuit of a goalkeeper stems from the potential sale of Troy Perkins to Norwegian club Valerenga.

Overall a smart move for both clubs involved I think. The Boz may have needed a change of scenery and Wells needs a place to become a number one. Don’t worry ladies of DC, from what I hear you still have Devon McTavish in your line-up.
