I’ve been meaning to update this list for a couple weeks now that the playoffs are quickly coming to a close with the MLS Cup just weeks away. Only four clubs remain in the hunt for the league prize but it is still a good time as ever to update this list.

Hat tip to Climbing the Ladder once again for updating this as well. He picked up on trades and some picks that I missed out on.

Also, expect some thoughts and opinions on the league Expansion draft real soon here at WVH. I plan on writing up who each club should save and hopefully populate a list of who the Quakes could be getting to re-start their club. Interesting enough is the number that LA has and that Dallas has.

Also, take this with a grain of salt. It is still three months or so away from this draft and there is a lot of time for deals to go down with some clubs (Houston, DC, Chivas) not having picks in the first round.

Expect LA to trade a lot of those picks away and probably wouldn’t be all that shocked to see Dallas trade a couple of those away as well. San Jose will be going after picks, they pretty much will have to since they only have three right now after the Yallop deal.

And lastly, the last four spots (11-14) are unknown and are pure guess right now since those wil be determined by the results of the playoffs. Currently they are looking like Houston winning the Cup and meeting New England in the final again.
