Thanks to Joe to emailing this to me earlier. Three Argentina players are set to join RSL this week after trails with the club, each are waiting on visa work before they can officially join.

Striker Edgar Espindola, defender Matias Mantilla, and midfielder Javier Morales are all set to join the club who is in dire need of a good-spin at this point.

Details of all three contracts hadn’t been made available yet by the MLS Players Union, but a team spokesman believed Morales’ contract was in the neighborhood of $300,000, Espindola around $200,000 and Mantilla around $150,000.

None will be classified as designated players as you can tell by their contract information. RSL had been looking for a DP a few weeks back but never landed one.

I know nothing about each player really. I believe Espindola is a former Boca Junior reserve, so the talent is possibly there. will this make a big difference in the club? Sure, anything is a boost at this point in their season.

Your thoughts?

Actually Espindola, the striker, was a second half sub against Chicago. I'm pretty sure his visa issues are handled in his case. ;^)
