New Galaxy Kit Leaked

The kit is okay, except for two things.<br />
<br />
1. Less importantly, the new look isn't really the Galaxy. The past few years, the Galaxy, Landon Donovan, and the HDC really were establishing the identity. Now, that identity is out of the window with this design. Is that bad? Not necessarily.<br />
<br />
2. Inexcusble. The new logo created by the LA Galaxy could have been created by an elementary school student. It is a joke and an embarrassment to designers, the sport of soccer, and the Galaxy and MLS. I am at a loss for how this could have been approved.

Why not just use the official seal of the city of Los Angeles for the logo?
